front right brake locking up. replaced the brake bleeders and disconnected abs?
my 94 camaro has been locking up its front right break after 5 to 10 min. of driving. i”ve replaced the old brake bleeders and disconected the abs (atomatic brake system) and replaced the break rotar but still locks up. what could it be?
Change the frame to caliper brake hose. Most times this situation happens, the hose is collapsed inside, acting like a check valve. It lets the fluid flow one way only. That’s why the brake seizes up. When changing pads, don’t ever let the caliper assembly just hang by the hose. Use a lenth of wire or rope, to keep any strain off the hose. They may hold the caliper alright but, it can ruin the hose, like in your case.
